Mesa Roja is built around real tomato, sweet peppers, lime and garlic, then finished with jalapeño for a bright, gentle warmth. It has enough body to stay where you put it and enough freshness to lift the whole plate.
Made for tacos, but just as useful on burgers, eggs, chips, grilled chicken and roasted vegetables.
Flavour: Tomato-rich · Bright · Tangy · Gently warming
Heat: Mild–medium
Ingredients: Passata (tomatoes), tinned tomatoes, sweet/bell peppers, onion, lime, chilli mash (jalapeño) (chilli, salt, acetic acid), garlic, sea salt, white vinegar.
Storage: Store cool and dark. Refrigerate after opening.
